In this memoir I have theorized, as part of The Lindemann Theory, and I believe validate it in an eight-year cure thus far, that the medications that thankfully removed symptoms of O.C.D. went on to create a broad range of events including direct side effects, a misdiagnosis, and indirectly led to other sequelae (conditions following the original one of O.C.D.). In 2009, I would perform a retrospective analysis of these events, leading me to create The Lindemann Theory that would lead to my cure.  I then go on to create InfinitE/IQ to help us all. The very events that tortured me would create a history that would set me free. Read our customer’s review below …

The Lindemann Theory For Professional

Three major periods of OCD, four major depressions, three of the major depressions requiring electroconvulsive treatments (ECT), ten to fifteen major “burn-outs” (at least three to six weeks long), two total hallucinatory to full-psychosis events, periods of mania, delusions, paranoia, obvious stress and anxiety, two lock downs, two suicide attempts (one near death), six major hospitalizations (one week or longer), five emergency room visits, thousands of doctor visits, twenty direct and over one hundred indirect doctors, almost twenty different medications, one sleep research facility experience, and more.

Because of the medication-induced side effects and sequelae (direct and indirect) mentioned and the original OCD, I believe I have insight into the following disorders: OCD, cyclothymic disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety disorder, anorexia nervosa, bulimia, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), depression, major depression and dysthymia.

My education in physiology and psychology, understanding of exercise physiology, nutrition, athletic training and broad coursework from medical school including coursework in pharmacology, anatomy-cadaver dissection, pathology, biochemistry, quantitative analysis, nutrition, physiology, neuroanatomy, embryology, genetics, endocrinology, microbiology, physical exam-history, microbiology, nutrition, molecular cell biology, all enabled me to analyze, elucidate, and create my theory, carry it out, succeed, document and pen this memoir-case history.

My use of InfinitE / IQ, a combination of Community (removal of isolation, and a return to a social species), Stimulation (mental and physical exercise; stress in the right dose to invoke adaptations) and Clean Fuel (food and supplements of the right type and quantity) all designed to maximize biochemical and neurochemical balance, hormonal control and reach peak efficiency and life performance. That cure again has been close to a decade now.

We were in the same class in high school and I and many others thought you were absolutely perfection personified. I had no idea of the pain you were enduring then and my heart broke to read about all the painful events, and the many years you struggled through in the pursuit of true help and a cure.

You are truly amazing, not only for surviving but persevering through finding the cure. Robert you are so very brave, generous and courageous in sharing your story and the theme of sincere care you have for others weaves its way through your entire book. The world needs you and I hope you are successful in your desire to return to the final years of study to earn your doctorate. Proceed with alacrity!

This book is a gripping read and I recommend it not only for those who have suffered Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (O.C.D.), depression or any other mental illness, but for everyone. There are gems of wisdom here for everyone to improve their health and live a happier and healthier life. Thank you Robert for this book and I look forward to your next, as you further expound upon your theory and describe in greater detail how everyone can put InfinitE/IQ into practice.

God bless you and your family.

Many if not most great new revelations and accomplishments in science have been achieved because individuals have had both the wisdom and courage to challenge the established way of thinking about a certain issue or problem facing mankind.

These individuals have systematically focused their thinking, research and knowledge on “out of the box” solutions. This book chronicles how one such man did just that in a very disciplined manner.

Rob Lindemann brilliantly details his successful life journey to find a course of action to overcome the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) that plagued his life and ability to achieve his life’s goal, that of becoming a medical doctor .

Today, millions of Americans find their life and/or the life of a loved one paralyzed by one form or another of OCD. If you are one of these individuals you will find the knowledge and experiences presented in “The Lindemann Theory” very helpful.

Practitioners who help individuals suffering from OCD will find that this book offers a well thought out approach to patient thinking while offering great optimism.

This is a riveting story of perseverance and determination.

I am impressed with the story the author tells about his overcoming OCD. Overcoming the adversities that he encountered are not only fascinating, but inspiring.

Your description of O.C.D. (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) was clear as well as your theories. When medications and treatments get piled on top of each other, things can become worse. I do understand and wonder if doctors take time to realize it.

Yes, good eating, less medication, exercise and family and friends are the basics for good life.

Having been a friend of the author for years, off and on, I had thought that I knew him.

Clearly, I had not. His struggles had been silent, not mentioned by family or other friends.

It turns out to be more common than imagined. The dark places our minds go to, we often don’t share with friends or strangers. For this reminder alone, the book serves a needed purpose, to remind us what we don’t see in others, no matter how close.

The story itself was an eye opener, a compelling tale of descent into disorder. Blameless, but without known cause, it occurs and upends all we think our lives should be about. Rob’s struggle to cope shows a way through pain and disorder.

Ultimately, new insight into mental crises accompany this journey. Whether those can lead to effective treatment remain to be seen. However, the journey defies and defines what we knew, or thought we knew.

Worth the trip. See for yourself.

I was on the fence about purchasing this book for the better part of two months. It was not because of the price, or the content, or even the author.

In my mind, it was because I had preconceived notions about people and didn’t want to admit that I might be wrong. I have a strong personality and it takes a lot of courage for me to admit that I am wrong. I have a wall around me that is virtually impenetrable by people I don’t know.

This book, a very personal story by the author, Robert Lindemann. It was relatable for me on many levels. It awakens the soul, provides awareness, and in my case forced me to look deep inside for some answers that don’t often come easily to me.

This book had my attention at the very beginning. It blew my mind and managed to surpass my already high expectations.

I find this book to be fascinating and have a riveting story – a page turner, coupled with real science and medical history. A must read in my opinion.

A book for the masses. A book we all can find the summit to – only with your InfinitE/IQ !

Inspiring, brilliant, and incredibly accurate. How do I know? I am the author’s mother, and lived the journey and have enjoyed the fruits of his theory, and hope it helps others. At 92 years of age, the validity of InfinitE/IQ has and will continue to allow me to enjoy my grandchildren for years to come. Certainly if there was one doctor I would want as my physician it would be Robert; it is a shame his medical school will not allow him to resume his studies despite excellent academic achievement of those completed 2 years.

It is a book for all, and a book that I feel can reshape the treatment of the human psyche and physical. With pride 5+ stars, and a mothers testimony to facts, and the files to prove all. Fantastic Read!
